FIFA, the international governing body of football, praised on Monday the amazing performance of Thessaloniki‘s PAOK football club in a Tweet with an accompanying video.
The federation uploaded a video showing the PAOK players celebrating their winning of the Superleague title for the first time in 34 years.
FIFA noted that PAOK has achieved one of the most difficult tasks in football: Remaining unbeaten throughout an entire season.

PAOK, the most popular football club in Thessaloniki’s and Northern Greece, secured the Greek football title yesterday after blanking Levadiakos with a whopping score of 5-0.
A spectacular show followed, with tens of thousands of supporters marching all over the city of Thessaloniki to celebrate the team’s historic achievement, which was the first time the team had won the national title since 1985.
