Budget Airline Offers Australia-Greece Flight from $299

The Singaporean low-cost airline named “Scoot” this week launched what it is calling its “Deal of the Decade” sale, including flights from Australia to Greece beginning at $299.

The jaw-dropping offer will indeed get you from Perth to Athens, but tickets are only available for select dates between now and May.

Fares from the east coast of Australia, considered the “Gold Coast” of the country, including the cities of Sydney and Melbourne, begin at $309.

This is the lowest advertised ticket price since Scoot launched their Athens route in 2017. During its initial launch sale, Scoot was selling tickets on the Athens route beginning at $369 from Perth and $419 from the east coast.

Prices have decreased ever since that time, going lower with each Scoot sale. However, this is the first time ticket prices to Greece have dropped below $300.

The only catch is that baggage and meals cost extra. In addition, travel must take place between now and May 30, 2019, and all flights are required to be booked by the end of February.
