The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted a statement on his personal Twitter account on Saturday night accusing the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the Turkish occupation of the northern part of Cyprus, calling him an ”occupier”.

The Israeli Premier added that Turkey kills innocent Kurdish children both inside the Turkish territory and outside of it in Syria.
Ibrahim Kalin, the spokesperson for the Turkish President replied to the Israeli Premier saying that Israel ”should end the lawless occupation of Palestinian lands and the brutal oppression of Palestinian people”.

The relations between Turkey and Israel have been tense and lacking cordiality for many years now. The rhetoric between the two nations has been equally splenetic.
