Greek Inflation Rises by One Percent in November


Inflation, or the adjusted index of consumer prices, showed an increase of 1.1 percent in November over levels of a year ago, according to Greek Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) data  published on Monday.
The average annual inflation rate for the period between December 2017 and November 2018 shows an increase of 0.8 per cent over the same twelve-month period between 2016 and 2017.
Average inflation in the Eurozone reached 2 percent in November, which was down by one fifth of a point compared to October 2018. Greece is still below the average inflation rate of all of the 19 member states of the Eurozone.
