The former Prime Minister of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), Nikola Gruevski, posted a status on his personal Facebook page stating that he is in Hungary to seek political asylum. This new development comes on the heels of Gruevski receiving a sentence of two years’ imprisonment for abuse of power while he was FYROM’s Prime Minister, and the issuance of an arrest warrant over the weekend after police could not locate him.
