Efforts Ongoing to Dislodge Ferry Run Aground in Santorini (video)

Greek crews are working to dislodge a ferry that ran aground on an islet near Santorini last week.
The “Nearchos” ferry struck rocks near the island’s volcano on Saturday. There were no injuries to the 13 crew and five passengers on board.
Divers are at the scene today attempting to secure the fuel on the ship and avoid any spillage that could cause environmental damage.
The ferry was traveling from Santorini to Mykonos when it ran aground.
The ferry sustained damage to its hull, along the portside of the foreship.
