Germany Donates €100K To Cyprus' Committee on Missing Persons

Germany has donated €100,000 ($114,000) to the Committee on Missing Persons (CMP) in Cyprus. The donation was made on Monday.
The CMP thanked the Federal Republic of Germany for the donation, noting that it raises Germany’s total financial assistance to the CMP to a total of €600,000 since 2006, making Germany its fifth-largest single donor country.
The CMP further stated in its press release that contributions to the CMP will support its goal of identifying and returning as many remains of missing individuals as possible, in an effort to bring an end to the uncertainty which has plagued so many families for so many years.
