Dimitris Koufontinas, a 60-year-old senior member of the November 17 terrorist group, will be granted a new 6-day furlough from the minimum security prison he has been held in since last summer, near Volos in Central Greece.
He is believed to leave on Sunday and be back on Friday, November 2.
The November 17 hit-man, who is currently serving a number of life sentences for crimes that include murder, will get his fifth furlough in less than a year.
The November 17 terrorist group was formed in 1975, and it is believed that it was disbanded in 2002, after the arrest and trial of a number of its members.
The group assassinated at least 23 people in 103 attacks; all of which were American, British, Turkish and Greek targets, and many more who were not targets but who just happened to be in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
His last furlough in August was widely condemned by Greek opposition politicians, the U.S., and Great Britain.
