Bayern Stroll Past AEK in Champions League

AEK’s coach Marinos Ouzounidis bowed to the superiority of Bayern Munich after his team lost 2-0 to the German giants at the Olympic Stadium in Athens.
“They are on a different level to us”, Ouzounidis admitted, as AEK suffered their third straight defeat in the Champions League.
After a goalless first half, an acrobatic strike from Javi Martinez after 61 minutes and another goal from Robert Lewandowski two minutes later broke AEK’s spirit and ended this Group E match as a contest.
With the outcome of the game never in doubt any longer, Bayern eased to victory in the last half hour while AEK was happy to have conceded only twice against such a big opponent.
In a couple of weeks’ time the two sides will meet again in Germany.
