'Rubicon' Anarchists Occupy School of Philosophy Classroom Again

Members of “Rubicon” anarchist group on Wednesday occupied once again classroom 516 of the University of Athens School of Philosophy, despite efforts by university faculty to block them.
On Wednesday last week, members of the group stormed classroom 516 and took control saying that from now on they will be teaching their ideas in that particular room.
Early Wednesday morning, university professors formed a human chain in front of the classroom in order to prevent the anarchists from entering. However, the faculty action caused tension upon the arrival of Rubicon members and like-minded students.
The professors were confronted by the anarchists and students, one of them allegedly threatening faculty that they would “walk over them” if they didn’t make way.
Once the professors moved away from the door of classroom 516, the anarchists entered and occupied the room once again.
Dean of Philosophy Eleni Karamalegou told reporters that the professors’ action to form a human chain was a symbolic move. However, the Dean of the School of Philosophy decided to keep the department closed on Thursday to prevent more tension.
