11 Migrants Dead as a Bus Crashes Into a Truck in Northern Greece

According to local news portal ”Xanthi Times”, eleven people, all of which were migrants, were burned alive on Saturday morning after the bus that was transferring them to Greece’s city of Thessaloniki crashed into a truck, near the city of Kavala.
The bus burst into flames after impact.  The eleven refugees and migrants died tragically as they were burned alive inside the bus
In fact, the two vehicles were completely destroyed.
The local authorities cannot verify the identities of the people who died so a DNA test will follow.
According to information from the local Police, the bus was involved in illegal smuggling of migrants.

The tragedy took place at 05:00 am local time. The driver of the bus, in an effort to avoid the police, lost control and crashed into the truck that was carrying parcels and was heading to Kavala. Further information on the identities of the migrants, driver of the truck and the bus are not known at this time.
