One woman is dead and two others are seriously injured after a train crashed into a car in Kato Tithorea town near Central Greece’s city of Lamia.
The crash occurred early morning on Thursday. The car was found about 1 kilometer away from the crash as the train’s speed was high.
The firefighters who rushed to the spot of the accident from the nearby cities of Amfiklia and Lamia found a woman sitting on the passenger’s seat dead, and two other passengers seriously injured.
The woman who died was the principal of Kato Tothorea’s high-school and the rest of the passengers were teachers of the same school.
The accident happened while they were commuting to work.
