Greece's Tennis Sensation Stefanos Tsitsipas Climbs World Ranks (video)

Greek tennis champion Stefanos Tsitsipas has moved into the top 30 in world rankings after another win at the Citi Open in Washington D.C.
The 19-year old will take on Belgian tennis superstar, David Goffin, on Friday for a place in the semi-finals, after winning against J. Donaldson and J. Duckworth.
It has been a good few months for the Greek teenager. His breakthrough came in Barcelona where he stormed to the final and got to take on the King of Clay, Rafael Nadal.
Then at Wimbledon, he reached his first fourth round. Some of the biggest wins under his belt include Dominic Thiem, Diego Schwartzman, Kevin Anderson and Lucas Pouille.
This tournament will be a good way for Tsitsipas to prepare for the US Open and he has shown that he is very good on hard courts as he has won both his games in very convincing fashion.
The 6’4″ sensation is also very proud of being Greek. Speaking to tennis journal Baseline on Wednesday he said:
“I’m super happy that I can represent my country and be the first Greek inside the Top 100,” Tsitsipas said. “Being Greek and playing tennis, it’s super special.”
