Greece's Infrastructure Ministry Starts to Allot Financial Aid to Attica Fire Victims

On Thursday, the Infrastructure Ministry reported that the lump sum of 5,000 euros in aid was given to 18 of the victims of Attica’s wildfires.
The 18 victims are the first of many, as the ministry is planning to provide financial aid to individuals and businesses who submit applications to local authorities.
The deadline to apply for financial assistance is October 30. To date, a total of 1,136 applications have been filed.
Skai reported that 391 applications have been submitted to the municipality of Rafina-Pikermi, 363 to Marathonas, 282 to Megara and, 100 to the ministry.
