Police arrested on Wednesday a 35 year-old man suspected of arson in the municipality of Marathon.
The man has been accused of setting five fires in land plots in the area of Rizari between July 26 and 31, and for disobedience towards authorities.
According to reports, the suspect said he enjoyed setting up fires and watching the fire service rush to the scene to put them out, from a distance.
The fire service said the suspect will appear before an Athens prosecutor later in the day.
