A burned body was found floating by a fisherman off the coast of Vouliagmeni, a southeastern suburb of Athens, on Tuesday morning.
The fisherman notified the coast guard, saying that the macabre finding was floating near the Fleves islet.
The body was retrieved and was given to the Fire Department authority. It is not confirmed though whether the body belongs to a victim of last week’s East Attica fires.
