Recently, Crete has become the celebratory destination for weddings. One place in particular is seeing a lot of weddings pass through is the Venetian harbor of Chania.
Just this week two Englishwomen married each other in the center of Chania and then the brides showed up to the harbor in a romantic horse-drawn chariot!
Both brides dressed in their wedding dresses, and kissed for the cameras and onlookers.

The romantic Venetian harbor of Chania is often referred to as one of the most precious jewels of western Crete. The old harbor is the busiest part of the old town of Chania and it is lined with cafeterias, tavernas, shops and preserved historical attractions dating back to the Venetians during their colonization in Crete between 1320 and 1356.
