Turkey has announced that it is raising the readiness level of its naval forces in the Aegean to prevent a possible “provocation” by Greece, according to the state-run Anadolu Agency news outlet.
According to Thursday’s report, the Turkish navy has ordered a frigate and two other gunboats to be on alert.
At the same time, what the Turkish military calls special underwater forces (SAT) are also on alert, Anadolu reported.
