Legendary performer and composer Yanni will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of his famous “Live at the Acropolis” tour.

The tour will arrive in Los Angeles on June 9, where Yanni will perform at the prestigious Greek Theatre. The “Live at the Acropolis” tour started on April 23 in Florida and will finish on August 5 in Boston, at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion.

The original “Live at the Acropolis” album was released in 1994, and was Yanni’s first live album and concert video. It was recorded at the ancient Herodes Atticus Theatre in Athens, under the shadow of the Acropolis, along with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra from London.

“Live at the Acropolis” aired in a special on PBS, and went on to become the second best-selling music video of all time. Even after all these years, Yanni’s first recording continues to be immensely popular all over the world. The singer has performed in venues as iconic as the Forbidden City in China and the Egyptian Pyramids, as well as returning to the Acropolis, where the music was first recorded.

Tickets are available through Yanni’s website.
