‘The Durrells’ Season 3 Premieres on March 18

Keeley Hawes and Alexis Georgoulis in “The Durrells in Corfu”

ITV show “The Durrells”, along with series regular Alexis Georgoulis, will be back on TV screens for a third season on March 18.

The show, which is based on a memoir by Gerald Durrell focused on his family’s life in Corfu, stars Keeley Hawes, Josh O’Connor, Milo Parker, as well as Yorgos Karamihos. It follows the Durrells as they adjust from life in England to life in sunny Corfu in the 1930s.

Writers for the show have hinted that Season 3 will dive deeper into the relationship between Louisa (Hawes), the matriarch of the Durrells, and Spiro (Georgoulis), the family’s local friend on the island.

Shot mostly in Corfu, “The Durrells” showcases some beautiful Greek landscapes and beautifully explores the cultural divide between the family and the locals.

Tune in to ITV on March 18 at 8 PM on iTV to catch the premiere of “The Durrells” season 3.
