Greek Coast Guard Snatch Boat Carrying 2 Tons of Cannabis (video)

The Hellenic Coast Guard on Saturday seized a boat carrying two tons of processed cannabis, 40 nautical miles off Ierapetra, Crete.
The 20-meter tug boat started its route from Cyprus heading to Spain. Hellenic Port Authority headquarters received a tip that the ship was carrying drugs. A special coast guard followed the movement of the boat discreetly.
The coast guard trapped the ship 40 miles south of Ierapetra and led it to an Ierapetra Bay where its cargo was investigated. The coast guard officers found two tons of processed cannabis with the use of a trained dog.
The cannabis was in chocolate paste form, hidden in special alcoves built-in the ship. The crew of four Syrian men are arrested by port authority and will be taken to the prosecutor on Monday.
