Pioneering Wine-making Educational Program Introduced by Katogi Averoff Hotel & Winery, Member of Aria Hotels

A pioneering educational program aimed at introducing the art of grapes and wine making to 9-18 year old students is presented by “Katogi Averoff Hotel & Winery” member of Aria Hotels.
The “Oinologondas” (“Wine-talking”, in free translation) program wishes to familiarize students with scientific experiments used in the process of wine-making.
The course has two sections. The first one includes experiments conducted during the research phase of making the wine, through the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) approach.
The second phase is an interactive experience aiming at the familiarization with the art of taste and its general principles.
The educational program is developed especially for students aged 9-18 and is adapted to the specific age characteristics of every group. Each course lasts one hour a week and is conducted every Thursday morning, , excluding Bank Holidays. Prior reservation is required.
