The Greek Navy band gave an unforgettable performance in the centre of Thessaloniki during events organized by the Navy in honor of Admiral Nikolaos Votsis; who became a national hero when he made a torpedo boat raid into Thessaloniki harbour to sink a Turkish ship, during the First Balkan War in October 1912.
Staged at Aristotelous Square; the band played a series of popular tunes, including songs by Dionysis Savvopoulos and various British songs, however, the highlight of the show was the big summer hit “Despacito”.
The band director encouraged the participation of the audience, which in turn responded with enthusiasm and a big applause.
