Three Right-Wing Extremists Held Over Racist Attack in Greece

Three teenagers; two aged 17 and one aged 18 years old, were arrested as suspects for the racist assault and beating of the two Pakistani workers last Saturday at Aspropyrgos, west of Athens.
According to police officers, the three are involved with extreme right-wing groups in the area, but there is no evidence of them being linked with the extreme right-wing party Golden Dawn.
All three; ethnic Greeks from the former Soviet Union, are known to the police, as they have been involved in violent behavior in the past, at least one of those instances being a racist attack.
Bats and other incriminating evidence was found by police when their homes were searched; and the one 17-year-old was identified by the migrant workers as one of their attackers.
