China will have a dynamic presence in the 82nd Thessaloniki International Fair, with the participation of over 200 exhibitors and businesses, as it is the honored country this year.
With a substantial presence in more than 6,000 square meters, the largest stand (No.13) in TIF, Chinese enterprises and organizations representing major sectors of the Chinese economy will try to attract the interest of Greek companies.
China Development Bank (CDB), one of the world’s leading credit institutions, will be present. It is the largest Chinese bank in the field of foreign investment financing, long-term borrowing and bond issuance. The aim of its participation at TIF is to present its portfolio and explore the prospects for project financing in Greece.
In addition to CDB, Chinese companies with extensive global activity and presence in this year’s TIF are: China Cosco Shipping Corporation, Shehua Group Corporation Limited, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation, the State Grid Corporation of China and Air China.
The latter has yet another reason to make its presence felt in the Fair as from September 30 it launches direct flights between Athens and Beijing.
Thessaloniki Mayor Yiannis Boutaris has ordered the decoration of several central streets with Chinese lanterns and dragons.
