A magnitude 4.9 eqrthquake on the Richter scale, occured in the sea surrounding the islands of Santorini, Milos and Amorgos on 18.53 on Wednesday.
The quake’s epicenter was recorded 36 kilometres east of the Adamantas and Milos islands and 100 kilometres south of Ermoupolis, the capital of Syros island.
The earthquake was felt by many islanders, particularly those living in Heraklion, Crete, according to local reports.
