Strong Reaction From Turkey After Greek PM's Comment

Ankara has reacted strongly to comments on Turkey made by Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras during his meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Thessaloniki on Thursday.
In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry replied to the Greek leader with the comment, “we are returning all characterizations to Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
The official statement said: “Such characterizations do not honor either the personality of Mr. Tsipras or the office he holds” and adds that Ankara expects a more responsible attitude from the Greek government.
The Greek prime minister sent a message to Ankara on the occasion of the Turkish threats to Nicosia’s drilling in the Cypriot EEZ, saying that “a dog does not always have to bark to defend itself,” and called on Turkey to show respect for International Law.
