IOBE Survey Shows Slight Increase in Economic Sentiment Following Second Bailout Review

According to the monthly survey by the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE), following the second bailout review there has been a slower than expected increase in business and consumers’ economic sentiment.
The IOBE report, which was released on Monday stated that in June that there was only a slight increase in the economic sentiment index which rose to 94 points last month from 93.2 points in May. It was at 90.2 points in June 2016.
Also rising slightly was the business expectations index in industry which rose four points from May to June, bringing it from 88 to 92 points.
