Student Found Hanged in Messolonghi, Western Greece

A 23-year-old student was found dead in the premises of Messolonghi Technical School (TEI) on Thursday morning.
His body was discovered by a member of the cleaning staff at 6:30 a.m.
According to reports in local media, the body of the young student was hanging from the staircase of the second floor of the Accounting School.
A police spokesman said that the most likely cause of the student’s death is suicide, although he stressed that there was no suicide note left in his apartment.
His tutor, Dionysis Kafousias, speaking to the press, expressed his shock and horror.
“It is very difficult for me to believe that my student for so many years, is no longer alive. He was in the tenth semester of his studies. He was a good student, and a great character full of kindness.”
The body was transferred to Rio Hospital for forensic examination.
