Turkish Aircraft Violate Athens FIR on Wednesday

Four F-16 Turkish aircraft flew over Kalogeri islets, northeast of the island of Andros, at 29,000 feet at 11:56 a.m. on Wednesday.
According to General Staff’s announcement, the four Turkish aircraft violated Athens FIR without submitting a flight plan. The aircraft flew between the islands of Limnos and Lesvos at 11:40 a.m. and at 11:56 a.m. over Kalogeri. Two of them left Athens FIR at 12:13 p.m. and three minutes later the other two followed.
The Turkish aircraft were recognized and intercepted by Greek fighter jets.
