Greek Homeless Man Sleeps in Cemetery Cenotaph (video)

A 56-year-old homeless man has resorted to sleeping inside a cenotaph in the Velo, Corinth cemetery as he is unable to find shelter anywhere.
The man spoke to Korinthostv.gr about the circumstances that forced him to make a bed out of a cenotaph in the cemetery.
The 56-year-old has health problems and in combination with his age he is unable to find a job. He used to work in Cyprus but he had to return to Greece. He has been abandoned by his family and now doesn’t have the funds to return to Cyprus, where he claims he can work.
Initially, the homeless man used to sleep inside the Velo church and beg for money. Now, for the past month, he found shelter in the cemetery. His complaint is that no state agency has helped him.
