From the Peloponnese region from Greece’s mainland to the surrounding islands, many cities throughout Greece saw sizable amounts of large hail pour out of the skies over the weekend.
In particular, roads on the Greek island of Zakynthos became slippery with the freezing rain but the pictures are fantastic as they show the ice-covered landscapes that looked as if they are covered by freshly fallen snow!
