A non-solution to the Cyprus problem will lead to discussions on a “plan B” Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Friday evening.
“We have said that there is an opportunity that cannot be missed. However, if there are some that want to lose it [the opportunity], we cannot do anything about it. Everyone will have to look after themselves then,” Cavusoglu said before leaving the occupied areas Anadolu agency reported.
The Turkish Foreign Minister during a visit to the “theological institute” of Hala Sultan, said that Ankara will ask for a plan B if there is no solution.
He added, however, that as long as Cyprus talks continue and as long as there is “hope” there is no need to have a plan B or C.
