quarteto-troikaThe technical teams of Greece’s creditors returned to Athens on Monday to resume negotiations on the second bailout program review.
The Greek government will rush to complete the bailout program evaluation in time for the December 5 Eurogroup, the last meeting of euro zone finance ministers for 2016. A completion of the review will open the way for talks on debt relief.
Issues to be negotiated include labor law reforms — such as collective bargaining, percentage of mass layoffs and union regulations — the 2017 budget, the solidarity income for poorer Greeks, primary surplus targets after 2019
A key talking point will also be the new privatization fund and privatizations of state properties.
