Commuters at Athens central Syntagma Square, in front of Greek Parliament, were amused as a meteor was staged to look as though it had crash-landed. Dozens of onlookers were drawn to the campaign organized by the Association of Greek Insurance Companies to raise public awareness of Private Insurance Day. The meteor was aimed at driving home the message that unforeseen perils lurk around every corner and to make people more aware of the packages offered by country’s insurers.
People took selfies and enjoyed the surprise.
