An hour after the 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck in central Italy, there was seismic activity in Greece. In Chalkidiki, northern Greece, a 4.8 magnitude earthquake was noted at 8:40 on Sunday morning with the epicenter at the sea region 54 kilometers south of Kassandra.
No damages were noted.
