Polytechnic School of Moscow Exhibits 'The Aegean Islands, the Birth of the Archipelago'

The Aegean Islands, the Birth of the Archipelago exhibitIn the framework of Greece-Russia Year, the northern Aegean region presents the exhibition “The Aegean Islands, the Birth of the Archipelago” at the Polytechnic School of Moscow.
The exhibition is organized at the initiative of the Natural History Museum of the Petrified Forest of Lesvos and presents the birth of the Aegean in the geohistorical period, and highlights the unique and authentic beauty of the Aegean and the Mediterranean Sea in a unique manner with many rare exhibits, audiovisual presentations and modern interactive applications.
“The exhibition presents in a comprehensive and attractive way, the creation of the Aegean Sea, the beautiful landscape and coasts” Professor and Director of the Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest, Nikos Zouros said to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency. He added that “through this approach the visitor will understand the constant interaction with cultural landscapes that constitute the cradle of civilizations from prehistory to the present day.”
The exhibition will run from October 7 to December 31.
