Libra Group CEO Avails Resources to Help With Refugee Crisis in Greece [video]

maxresdefault-1Libra Group CEO George Logothetis called on anyone who wants to assist in the refugee crisis in Greece to contact the group and become a “partner” in saving lives.
In a heartwarming speech during the Concordia Summit in New York City, Logothetis asked the audience and the rest of the world to get angry at the refugee crisis and then channel that anger in a giving, constructive way.
Logothetis said that it is the duty of the western world to help the refugees who are in dire need. “We can’t save everyone, but it is our responsibility to save some,” he said characteristically.
In his speech, the Greek-British businessman said that in cooperation with governments, foundations and non government organizations, his group has helped out and saved lives. He relayed stories of tragedy from refugee camps in Greece, urging people to step forward and help out.
“We are in a position to help. We have a little business in Greece, we have infrastructure there, we have capabilities on the ground… Together we can be far more effective than alone… If you need to help, you have a partner,” he said, giving an email address for those who want to contact him.
Logothetis said that he and his family have refugee blood in them, along with many other people in the world.
The Libra Group is focused on shipping, aviation, real estate, hospitality and renewable energy as well as selected diversified investments.
Logothetis became CEO at the age of 19. He is also Chairman of the Concordia Leadership Council.
