Dynamite Thrown at Mykonos Restaurant Owner's Home

IMG_0403A loud explosion occurred late Wednesday night at the house of a well-known businessman in Penteli, a northern suburb of Athens.
According to early police reports, unknown perpetrators threw sticks of dynamite at the front door and yard at the residence of Konstantis Koutsathanas, co-owner of Nammos restaurant on Mykonos.
The explosion caused material damages in the yard and the front of the house. Police cordoned-off the area and the bomb squad searched around the house for more explosives.
The homeowner was on Mykonos at the time of the attack. Koutsathanas co-owns Nammos, a luxury restaurant/bar on Mykonos, famous for the annual Antonis Remos live shows where Greek and international rich and famous spend millions of euros during the event.
