Single Property Tax (ENFIA) notifications for real estate owners in Greece are available online as of Monday. Real estate owners can visit www.gsis.gr for more information. The tax can be paid in five monthly installments, with a first payment until September 30 and the last one January 31.
Greek Finance Ministry sources told the Athens News Agency that the vast majority of this year’s ENFIA notifications called on citizens to pay the same or less tax compared with 2015. The sources said that 65 percent of real estate owners were called to pay the same or less tax, 24 percent were burdened with a sum between one cent and 10 euros, 10 percent were called to pay more than 10 euros and only 4 percent of them were burdened with a sum of more than 50 euros. Finally, only 0.3 percent of real estate owners were called to pay a sum more than 1,000 euros.
