Marko Marin, aged 27, has left Chelsea for a 3-year-deal with Greece’s Olympiakos. His move away from London was confirmed on Tuesday following his medical with the Greek side a day earlier.
Marin will be an asset to the Greek team as he can play as both a winger and a central midfielder. His contract with Chelsea was at 6.5 million pounds in 2012 after he was picked from German club Werder Bremen. He was sent out on loan to Sevilla for the 2013/14 campaign.
Despite a frustrating season in Spain, he collected a Europa League medal during his time there. He subsequently was loaned in Italy with Fiorentina but will now leave Chelsea permanently for the Greek team. He says
