Music lovers will be spoiled for choice this summer with international music under the stars.
July 13: Katrakeio Theatre
If it’s a taste of the Greek night scene you’re after then Greek music star Marinella will team up with Antonis Remos and Christos Nikolopoulos straight from the bouzouki clubs where trays of flowers are showered over pretty girls.
July 13: Amaleio Theatre
Famous for her wide vocal range and songs of many nationalities and genres, Eleftheria Arvanitaki will sing with Nikos Portokaloglou.
July 13: Gazarte terrace
French cover band Nouvelle Vague bring “new wave” to the Gazarte terrace in a stroll down memory lane with classic jazz tunes and Sixties pieces.
July 13: Athens Concert Hall (Megaron Mousikis) Garden
Arleta and Lakis Papadopoulos give a concert under the stars, titled “Quiet Evenings.”
July 14: Vrahon Theater
Greek band, Stavento, created in 2011, will present their hits accompanied by the voice of singer/songwriter Andriana Babali.
July 19: Terra Vibe Park
Lana Del Rey spills onto the TerraVibe stage with “Hollywood sad core” followed by American rockers Allah-Las – of “Worship the Sun” fame. Last but not least, up-and-coming English-born Aussie Lisa Mitchell takes the stage with her dynamic, energetic presence.
July 20: Plateia Nerou (Water Square)
Legendary German hard-rock band Scorpions couldn’t disappoint their bustling fan base in Greece on their 50th anniversary world tour at Plateia Nerou conjuring images of their butt-kicking, sold-out concert with Joe Cocker at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in 2010.
July 23: Plateia Nerou (Water Square)
English alternative rock band Muse perform on the band’s third visit to Greece.
July 25: Veakeio Theatre
Alkistis Protopsaltis takes us on a musical journey with her remarkable voice.
September 10: Piraeus 117 Academy
Blitzkrieg give a one-night performance, sealing the end of the summer season.
