The Greek Men’s National Water Polo Team picked up a bronze metal at Sunday’s FINA World League Super Final’s in China. The Greek team beat Italy 11-7 after they were down by 5 goals and finished third in this year’s games. The Galanolefki had defeated Italy 15-5 earlier in the tournament during group play.
At Saturday’s semi-finals against the United States, the Greek team proved unlucky, falling heroically in penalties 6-5 after an 11-11 tie at the end of regulation.
