Germany will recommend that the European Stability Mechanism rescue fund releases the next loan tranche to Greece, according to a Reuters report.
Reuters says that on Wednesday it has seen a letter by German Deputy Finance Minister Jens Spahn sent to the budget committee.
The budget committee will discuss the release of 10.3 billion euros in credit later on Wednesday, with 7.5 billion euros of that to be disbursed before the end of June.
Last week Greek lawmakers ratified a set of extra measures required by international lenders in order to receive further bailout funds and cheap bank loans from the European Central Bank.
