Athens Pride has announced that the 2016 Athens Pride Festival will take place on Saturday, June 11, at Klafthmonos Square in downtown Athens.
The mission of Athens Pride is to create awareness and provide a platform to LGBT individuals residing in Greece as well as other LGBT community organizations to advance their civil rights and needs. The non-profit, all-volunteer organization also provides programs to raise youth awareness and support groups via their volunteer services.
Athens Pride announced that any organizations who wish to participate in the annual pride festival must submit the appropriate forms online by Monday. More information is available online at http://athenspride.eu/en/homepage-copy/
