The deal regarding the security funds has been sealed, said Labor Minister George Katrougalos after the meeting with the creditors’ representatives, while he also supported that both parts have come together.
The creditors’ representatives have accepted all the proposals from the Greek side and all that is left is a difference of 70 million euros for which a solution will be researched in order to cover it, said the Minister.
This development is considered very important and positive, as one day before the Eurogroup summit, Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos will have an important negotiation card in his hands in order to proceed faster with the completion of the evaluation process. In addition, according to a governmental source, there was also convergence in the issue of NPLs. However, there is still distance regarding the limit of the untaxed amount.
The chiefs of Troika will relocate to Amsterdam in order to participate in the Eurogroup meeting, while the creditors’ representatives will remain in Athens to continue the negotiations with the Greek government.
