The Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) must find a solution for the issue of the Greek Cup by Friday April 15 in order to avoid being excluded from all international championships.
FIFA has set the above date as the conclusive date so that the Greek Cup starts again and the Greek Football bails out of a “Grexit” from international championships. FIFA sent its final 10-day deadline in a letter which arrived at the Ministry of Athletics.
More precisely, FIFA asks EPO and the Ministry of Athletics to commence the Greek Cup again which was postponed after the clashes that broke out at the PAOK–Olympiakos match in Toumba. Secondly, the letter clarifies that whichever decision by the Council of State will not be considered, as it does not apply to FIFA and its demands. Thirdly, FIFA asked for a negotiation team to be composed so that there is a revision in several parts of the Ministry’s legislation.
