46,207 Refugees and Migrants in Total All Over Greece

The total number of refugees and migrants that are currently in Greece is 46,207 people, according to a summary of the refugee flows that was published by the Ministry of Immigration Policy on Friday morning.
Regarding the islands of Eastern Aegean, 7,271 people were documented, with the majority of them being in Lesvos (4,121) and Chios islands (2,223). This morning 670 new people arrived, whereas 239 more people arrived on islands last night.
In the Attiki area, there are 13,592 refugees and migrants, with 4,490 people staying in the hot-spot of Elliniko, 4,954 staying in Piraeus port and 1,970 staying in the hot-spot of Schisto. In Central Greece, a number of 1,530 refugees and migrants has been documented.
In addition, in Northern Greece there is also a great number of refugees and migrants, as in the borders of Idomeni 10,500 people have been hemmed in and are waiting to continue their journey. In Kilkis, 3,852 people are hosted, 3,504 in Polykastro and 2,211 in Diavata.
