Human rights organizations from Greece, FYROM, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and other countries have issued a joint public statement with which they condemn European governments that “violate, national, European, and international law by shutting their doors to people in need of international protection.

These policies have ‘increased the level of human pain,” said the announcement, and it underlined that thousands of people are forced to place their fate in the hands of smugglers.
Finally, the human rights organizations of the Balkan countries ask Europe to respect its treaties and show due respect for human rights.
