According to a new poll by Metron Analysis, New Democracy (ND) has a 4.3% unit lead ahead of SYRIZA.
More specifically, ND canvasses 23.7% whereas SYRIZA holds a lower 19.4%. Other parties that follow are KKE with 4.7%, Democratic Alignment with 4.2% and Centrists Union with 3.7%. The lowest ratings go to “To Potami” with 2.2% and Independent Greeks (ANEL) with 2.3%.
Regarding the popularity of party leaders, Kyriakos Mitsotakis appears to have positive opinions against negative ones (48-50) whereas Alexis Tsipras has twice the number of negative opinions against positive (65-35). In addition, Mitsotakis comes first in the question of who is the most suitable prime minister, with 22% against Tsipras’ 19% .
